About Chelsea: After completing her undergraduate work at NMSU, Chelsea spent two years teaching math and science as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea, West Africa. She came to Davis in September 2006 to begin a PhD in Epidemiology. Currently she is working on a project to determine the respiratory health of dairy workers in the Central Valley. Chelsea became a dual-degree MPH/PhD student once she realized the international value of an MPH degree. While her focus will remain in epidemiology, she intends to use the MPH to expand from working with agriculture to working in the international sector.
