About Kristina: Before returning to college to complete her B.A., Kristina worked as a medical scanning liaison for a local hospital and managed a laser hair removal clinic. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Kristina volunteered as a health promoter working with under-served communities. Through working with members of those communities, Kristina developed a passion for addressing health disparities among minority populations. Kristina would like to work as a policy analyst in the future, as someone who is helping to craft legislature that promotes under-served, low income populationís access to health services. Additionally, she is interested in research concerning women's reproductive health issues.
