About George: George wants to have an influence on national health policies to improve the fitness and wellbeing of millions of Americans. His historical studies at the University of Florida have shown him the lasting importance of wealth, social standing, and race in modern public health issues. His work in a developmental neuroscience laboratory provided evidence that all children require enriched, safe, and loving, environments to thrive and succeed in the United States. George will use the skills and knowledge of this program to be an advocate and representative of vulnerable populations on the national stage through politics, health policy, and education.
