About Dariush: A Persian- American, Dariush cultivated strong family and community values early in life. In his years at UC Davis, his volunteerwork as a health educator at Imani Clinic further bolstered those principles, positively impacted the health of the underserved Oak Park community and influenced his decision to pursue a Masters in Public Health. With the ultimate goal of supporting individuals -- thus communities -- as a future physician, Dariush will focus his MPH studies in the field of epidemiology, with hopes of fostering a greater understanding of the factors and dynamics of population-disease, paramount in advancing healthcare policy, service-administration and, ultimately, the achievement of community health.
