Allison Stone Degree: BA, Biology, University of San Diego (2004) Area of Emphasis: Human and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases Practicum: Evaluation of California's Current Obesity Control Plan, Cancer Control Branch, CDPH About Allison: Allison is interested in epidemiology and infectious diseases. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of San Diego and then went on to work in a molecular biology research lab at The Scripps Research Institute. For the past two years she has worked for UC Davis at the California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratory as a Staff Research Associate. Allison is especially interested in zoonotic diseases and the overlap between the medical, veterinary medicine and public health fields.
