About Keirsten: After completing her undergraduate work in intercultural communication, Keirsten spent five years in the nonprofit sector, developing programs in areas such as youth outreach and environmental stewardship. She has spent the past ten years in training and change management for companies of all shapes and sizes, from retail giants to local food cooperatives. She seeks not only the tools to improve nutrition and lifestyle in target populations, but also innovative ways to drive behavior change while respecting culture and personal tradition. Currently, Keirsten is assisting UC Extension to identify trends in public health education.
