Hang Vu Degree: BS, Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, UC Davis (2008) Area of Emphasis: Epidemiology Practicum: TBD About Hang: Hang spent the majority of her undergraduate years as an advocate for the disadvantaged. She values her involvement in VNCARES (Vietnamese Cancer Awareness Research and Education Society), an organization that promotes cancer awareness and provides free screening for the low-income Vietnamese population. After graduating, Hang spent six months in Guatemala in an immersion program, learning the Spanish language, culture and history in order to obtain new skills that will better help her serve others. Her interests include health promotion and education, eliminating barriers to health access, and international health.
